Given the failures of this season, next season will be a make or break season for the club, many fans are deciding to give the club another chance with a seemingly new start under Cartwright and Myler, but get it wrong with releasing players early into the season again and the knock on effect that has on results on the pitch and many fans may walk away for good
I get what you’re saying and agree to some degree but I’d like to think that the club have put some onus on Jordan himself in his contract that if he doesn’t meet the fitness & weight required by the club as a pro player then he faces penalties or cancellation of contract with no payout etc.
I’d also like to think that Jordan himself knows it’s pretty much last chance saloon too so will be determined to turn up to the start of pre season in shape. Think Cartwright will certainly have the right approach in keeping players disciplined in term of what they have to do and standards that are to be expected annd achieved each and every day etc.
