A good side would have put the Dragons to the sword tonight, we just seem to lose all direction and game plan as soon as the first red was given.

Screaming out for a leader Steve…we just don’t seem to have one…certain posters slagging off most of the new signings but they are leaders and winners and that’s what we are missing

Grix said this about Tomkins;

"He was playing the game a little bit, I think. That was fine. He was good. He did a good job with the whistle as well."

Pretty accurate summary. Tomkins realised the ref was weak and exploited it. He'll have his signed shirt to take home so he'll be happy.

13 beats 12 most times, add the loss of Micky Mac which means someone else's has to do more work covering his loss in that heat. I think Grix will be quite critical with the team.

Overall a mix bag really, once again effort & commitment can’t be questioned but poor errors, lack of composure were our downfall today.

Thought the ref was very weak and Tomkins was the one running the game. Cats seemed to be allowed to niggle & hold down, not get square of on side constantly and Davies moving off the mark everytime. We lack the leadership or nouse to either say something to the ref about it or do the same. Though think Carlos appeared to question the ref at one point.

Considering looking at both teams on paper and comparing we shouldn’t have been anyway near them due to gulf in quality & size.

Thought Martin & Barron played well along with Aydin who again just got through tons of work. Thought Lane & Carlos also put a pretty good shifts in. Balmforth again was a spark and threat when he came until going off with an injury. Trueman sadly for me was once again disappointing today.

At the end of the day we just don’t have enough quality currently, in games like today if we had had just a little bit more quality it could easily have been a different result.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

People moaning about tomkins, but hes the sort of player you need in your team to give you that competitive edge in whatever way possible , over the years the top teams play to the refs limit of what's possible in terms of holding down, having a quick line speed but not offside, we're either too stupid and give away too many penalties or are too honest and don't take advantage when we can

Our game management is horrendous.

Grix, Fash (Capt) and Sao lost us that game today. It’s 6-6, they are down to 12 men, with MM off too. All we needed to to do is inform the team that we need to play simple, disciplined rugby in the 30c heat for the remainder of the game. That’s just basic.

No communication, Ligi goes flying in gaining no benefit (not for for the first time this season) and we’ve let them off the hook.

Grix and everyone else can blame the referee, but we she never have given him a decision to make in the first place.

Griffin left the Club with a better disciplinary
than Sao has !!!!!
He’s a liability
Has good games, like Griffin did, but is
just too injury prone and very poor discipline.

Time to move him on PLEASE

How can you class Hardaker,Chamberlain and Holmes as leaders.
You have just said we lack leadership on the field yet Chamberlain played today or shall we say took to the field. No leadership there,so how is he a leader?.
I dont see any on field leadership from Hardaker, his recent performances have been poor and he has been dropped or speculation has it that he has been left out for other reasons but leadership is not in his DNA. given his past.record.
Holmes has hardly played since he has been at Leigh so cant be classed as a leader. In fact are we actually getting a player?
What we are missing is quality and pace and simply filling spaces with bang average players on fairly lengthy contracts will do little to add anything to on field performance or excitement for fans.
Signing Lam and getting rid of Trueman would be a good start but once again today we saw how weak are both in the front row and second row and centre is a huge problem.
So until we get some quality in especially in those positions the club will struggle again next season
