Strange but I’ve never fully been impressed by Martin when I’ve seen him. He seems to be rated highly though and I don’t see him week in week out. Certainly not marquee but then I don’t think PT was suggesting we spend marquee money on him.
I’d be happy enough if he came.
There isn’t much quality left domestically other than the odd good players like Parcell/Martin.
We will have to be pretty smart in the market to fill our last 5 or so spots.
I hope Storton rumour is true as I think he’d be a good pick up for second row. A position we only have Cam Scott signed for unless Mckmeeken is to be used there.
Be interesting to see where Vagana future lies. He played better at prop for me but still showed some glimpses he could possibly play second row. Though I feel he will play prop at SL level.

I don't feel Vagana is a SR but he's got plenty of time to learn the role.
I'm assuming Ashurst won't go with us to SL so Storton is a good replacement. Good as he is I'm not sure Griffin is the one to see us through either. We need another impact second row.
I'd keep Pitts. He's earned his place for me and his leadership will be vital.
Those overseas places are valuable so it depends who is available before we decide on a Parcell or Martin.
I'm still waiting for the Cleary rumour.

Agree but Griffin would be an impact SR from bench and more of a rotation squad player rather than a starter. If the salaries would reflect that and adequate for both parties then we will see.

I agree starting with Doyle with Parcell off the bench is improving the squad for SL. Nothing against Hood but I don’t think he offers as much….Griffin as impact second row for a year aswell.
