Only caught the second half last night, as others have said, its clear we've made improvements under Arthur, defence much improved. Still a lot to work on but the signs are positive.

Somebody posted that he'd been offered assistant coach at the Knights next year, and that will be a temptation for him if true. That said, he does keep alluding to what he could do with a pre-season, so it's clearly in his thoughts.
I doubt that will be that great a temptation for him, unless he had to for financial reasons. He has been the first team coach for many years in the NRL and he would want to be again. So if that's the only offer, other than the new team in Perth (which is 2 years away) then would he prefer to stay with us for at least next season, or as an assistant elsewhere in the NRL.As usual the settling in the UK for his wife etc could be an issue as she is not even arriving until mid August according to Arthur.
Why would Lisone get a ban? Nothing wrong with initial contact. Incident seems exactly the same as the Tyler Dupree one earlier this year which MRP gave no ban for.
Defensively massively improved. Attack still miles off. Failing to kick on three consecutive sets, Frawley losing us possession on the first play etc.
I sense Arthur has mainly been focusing on defence. I suspect he may look at our attack a bit more to sharpen us up. We look very low on confidence at the moment and thus, a good win last night should hopefully boost us a little. A win next week could hopefully get us playing confidently again.

AS I saw it he celebrated the try, much as other players do whooping a try or an opposition error. The three players that went at him were more at fault for causing the incident.

Didn't get to see the game last night and have just watched it. Granted, it's an easier watch when you know the result. But I was impressed. Obviously Arthur is focusing on the defence. Line speed and aggression make a massive difference. Who knew?..... Still very clunky in attack and too many individual mistakes, but I'm sure he'll be on to that next. This squad of players is not good enough for top 3, but could squeeze into the play offs based on what I've seen so far.
Arthur clearly knows what he's doing. We should offer him 2 years now. If he's got the Perth NRL team in his sights for 2027, give him the gig for the next 2 years and we all know where we stand.

It is no different to the swinging arm going off the arm or shoulder into the head of the defender. It might be accidental but on your logic anyone could do that, break someone's jaw, but claim the initial contact was legal.
