Our bogey team up next. 2 years since we last beat them in a league game?
Important we get a win here. A point and brave effort against Toulouse and Wakey are good. But a defeat here and those efforts are for nothing as it will be 3 games without a win. York look to be struggling with injuries with all their spine (Dagger, Harris and Hingano) looking like they could he out. However they look to have picked up their form and on one of those runs they tend to go on.
Looking like we can only select those who are fit again. But really need to make sure we win this.

We were short in the forwards so we’ve moved to loan a couple of forwards. Other than that, either Myers or Tindall for Taufua and the team sort of picks itself. I think York have their own injury problems but that seems to be across most clubs at the moment.
York have named their squad. Dagger and Harris are out injured but Hingano is fit. Liam Harris ran us ragged earlier this year so him being out is good news for us. York are in good form winning 6 of their last 8 games. In their last 2 games they've bagged a lot of points by battering Barrow and then nilling Doncaster. They'll be coming in confident of an upset and we will have to be on top form to nullify their attack.
Our squad looks very big with us naming 7 props in the initial 21 man squad. It's a toss up between dropping Mason, who I felt looked slightly off the pace against Wakefield, and giving Okoro his place. Looks like we will be loading the bench with size and aggression.

I think Mason will be given some time to get himself fit. He definitely needs a mini pre season to shed a bit of weight, I think EOC was so short on numbers for Wakey that Mason put his hand up to play. He didn't let anyone down but he definitely needs some more time before he is ready to play regularly.

A bit of added pressure now on the next few games. Lose and we are dragged into a scrap for 4/5/6 and lose all hope of 2/3. I think Toulouse & Sheffield will drop further points but if we go 4 pts or more behind them that will very likely see us out of that race.
Expecting another tough game today, time to make amends for earlier in the season.

Not the best performance, some very sloppy periods but found enough quality to get the result. Definitely some very tired bodies out on that pitch today which isn't surprising after two big efforts against Toulouse and Wakefield.
Could definitely so do with some fresh legs for next week at Widnes.
We had a lack of energy for most of the game but found a way to win today. Not so long ago we wouldn't have managed that so pleased with the result. Barrow did us a favour as well! Great touch by the players at the end for Sam Hallas.
