I think Wober is too slow for LB unless we go with 3 at the back and play with wing backs. Definitely need a LB, Midfielder, Wing and centre forward at least. Thought we were spending the full 40 million we got for Gray not to mention what we get for Summerville/Gnonto?

the winger from palace is very much on the cards from what I read. centre backs we can get by with if needed. but I agree a left back, striker and possibly another midfielder are needed

We need to add goals to the midfield and 10 positions. Rothwell does a bit of that but we definitely need more there. We’ve lost Gray and Kamara so we’re one midfield option down, I don’t think Crew is quite ready yet.
We’re then a winger light as Anthony gave us depth there.. really not sure what we’ll do at 9… though I think Bamford still being injured will sharpen Farkes thoughts

We have Bamford, Piroe, Joseph, and Geldhert for the 9 position. None of them are perfect, but we'll only sign a 9 if Piroe or Bamford leave. Which given their wages isn't likely to happen. I'd rather they give Joseph a chance anyway.
I think we'll only see 1 or 2 back up defenders, and a CM brought in, unless other players leave, which is likely.

Trouble is if Farke is wanting to play same system as last year, neither Prioe or Geldhart can play the 9 role well. Prioe hasn't got the legs and Geldhart can't hold the ball up well enough. Bamford can at this level but is injured a lot.. Joseph looks a talent but is untested - he looks good but it's a gamble imo. I'd love Joseph to do well but we can't afford to be relying on Bamford again.

I don't necessarily disagree about Piroe or Bamford, I just don't think we'll sign a new striker unless one of them leaves. Bamford is on a big wage and they paid 10m for Piroe less than a year ago, so Farke must think he can play there. He has slimmed down a lot, so hopefully that will improve his mobility.
Lots of credible rumours regarding Gnonto to Everton, Summerville to West Ham, and Szmodics to Leeds, although Ipswich are the front runners for him. Leeds proving difficult to deal with though, they're demanding top dollar for Summerville and Gnonto. Which is good to hear.

It is good to hear JB. As long as they don`t disrupt the dressing room by throwing their toys out of the pram which from those 2 could happen. Szmodics I thought would be a good signing but I read an article about him which basically says he could be another Piroe that struggles with the way Farke wants us to play. Like I`ve said (a million times I know) Moore would have been good and maybe McBurnie who could play the Bamford role. Both Joffy and Piroe weren`t particularly good against Harrogate.
