A few people on X like to wind people up, pretend to be in the know

There is that as well. I’ve spoke to someone who’d know and it’s way off. Can’t see it happening personally

I can believe we've made him a massive offer, but so will half the league. Brooks speculating doesn't help.
I like the ambition we're showing, but I'm not getting too excited

Surely no one anywhere expects him to sign for us?

I did but I also expected us to sign Scott Prince, Bevan French, Elliott Whitehead and Connor Watson plus a few others.

Agreed definitely offered him a huge deal, but our current position and location would put us on the back foot against other clubs.

I guess with Lam it depends on how the club have presented the project to him, he might be more likely to come if we can make him the central cog in the rebuild and it's a challenge he fancies, obviously money will be the among the main factors but we managed to get Ellis with every single SL club giving him an offer due to how the club presented the opportunity to him. Hopefully we can get him here, he seems to work very well with Asiata too.
