He’s not had a preseason in two years and our upturn in form last year coincided with his return. I’d be eager to see how he looks after pre season before I made a decision.
People are quick to forget how young he is. He was in tha same academy team as Cam Scott who still hasn’t managed a become first team regular and many still saw as a young gun.
Signing a player like Lam would be class for 12 months before he goes to the NRL. Truey would then be at a new club and the fans would fuming we let him go. Despite wanting him gone whilst he was here, just like Sneyd
Trueman just hasnt done enough for me, and he's 25 these should be the prime years. Salary is a big issue, if he was just in normal wages then ok fair enough but from bits Pearson has said its a big number.

Was just about to post something similar, didn’t have specific player in mind but we keep missing out on these potential match winners and still think we need that bit of x-factor so maybe see if there’s any wingers that fit the bill.
People keep mentioning pace, I don’t disagree but don’t think we need a 100m sprinter but lack that real athletic player who can create something out of nothing. Like Mahe in his first spell, most modern wingers can play a bit of centre too.
If we sign Lafai , His winger could well score 15/20 tries . He is near the top in SL for tackle bust and has around 15 try assists . Wingers delight .

That's how I see it. Even if he hasn't signed a deal with an NRL team I would have thought they'd be some rumours he was about to.
I'm guessing that he's unhappy with his deal at Leigh and his agent has been hawking him around and we and other clubs have offered him a substantial offer.
The termination clause to allow him to sign for another SL if valid is a massive oversight and embarrassment for Leigh. Even if he signs for another SL club I'd love it just to see Degsy's reaction.
We've been linked with several big names since the investment but none have come to fruition. Asista came out of the blue. As I say prepare to be disppointed.
Of course I and most of us haven't got a clue but it creates a bit of fun!
