If that’s true it looks like we’ve been played like a fiddle by Adrian Lam and now Lachlan Lam and his representatives to get more out of Leigh.

Part of me thinks it’s only Beaumont who himself always doesn’t conduct himself well and If you don’t try you don’t get, but if we can’t back it up with the reddies it does make us look silly all this. We don’t want to be making enemies with other clubs with little to show for it. There’s just no way that switch happens all it will do is send Beaumont into orbit. That’s if it’s true but Davidson is usually reliable and has good sources. If it’s not I hope we come out and deny it.

Dan saying Catalans also interested. Would be a massive upgrade on Trueman.

HDM now running the story, the tip off obviously has come from inside the club.

Potential messy legal battle and more negative PR about our transfer business to come when one things for certain Lachlan Lam has absolutely no intention of playing for Hull next season. Hardy seems worth the hassle.

Lam is probably sick of being forced to wear tacky leopard print every week.

He and his agent obviously wants a move or he wouldn't be doing what he's doing.

He's a top end SL half back and if we have a chance to land him we should be all over it, negative PR or not.

How is that "certain"? Pure guesswork on your part.

Lam would be a great bit of business. I won't get my hopes up but with us able to offer marquee money who knows.

Agree. As much as it would be a sensational signing and i'd love him here, be absolutley amazed if he was a Hull FC player next season.

Must be great signing for Hull FC and getting the forum experts to rip you a new one before you pull the shirt, classy bunch.

For one thing it’s hardly like people are tagging him on social media or commenting on articles that his family are likely to see. It’s a forum that you’d have to go out your way to find really.

Secondly it’s hardly ‘ripping him to shreds’ I’ve not seen anyone make anything personal about the lad people are just mostly pointing out that he was deemed surplus to requirements at Leeds and that Salford have actively tried to offload him while contracted to bring in better players, that’s pretty undeniable really. He’s got an opportunity to prove the doubters wrong (not just Hull fans) I’m sure if he gives his all on the field Hull fans will take to him quickly.

It's a bit puzzling that it's all come out in the open so suddenly. I would have thought this kind of issue would have been dealt with in house unless there's already a lucrative deal on the table from a SL club.

Signing him and keeping a quota place would be very handy. I can't see it though all sounds to good to be true.
