Be brutally honest!

Also how's Leutele doing? I understand he's out of contract.

1st of all, Asiata has just come back into the team, and been our captain fantastic for us. He'll be a great addition for you guys if he stays fit.

Hardaker has been hot & cold so far this season, and doesn't like to pass to his winger. His defence is questionable at times too. He will be 33 at start of next season, maybe his body could be feeling the intensity of Superleague. Time will tell.

Chamberlain is a squad player in my view but done ok when required to play. Not SL standard in my opinion.

Holmes hasn't really featured this season. He's been decent for us but maybe SL is not for him now, and will be 32 in 3 weeks. Again, time will tell.

Leutele his a solid centre, and carries the ball well. I thought we would've kept him for another season, but it looks like we won't offer him a 2 year deal. Maybe we have a top centre lined up to announce when it's appropriate.

In my opinion, I would've liked to have kept Asiata & Leutele.

Hope I've been helpful.

You have indeed mate. Pretty much what I thought.

Asiata is quality but a risk. We probably had to offer him a long contract otherwise he wouldn't have signed.

Holmes I'm ok with. Solid and we are short in the second row.

I wouldn't have gone anywhere near Hardaker both for playing reasons and his off field antics.

I don't know much about Chamberlain but signing a squad player on a 3 year contract is puzzling.

I'd like Leutele but only on a 1 year deal. Quality player.

When that review comes from Cokey with no axe to grind you have to wonder what planet Ritchie Rich is on
Chamberlain not S/L standard

Sounds like Sutcliffe
Holmes hasn't really featured this season
And you wonder why one or two of us question the poor recruitment

No offence to Cokey, but I'd think Myler and Grix are probably more qualified than him to say if a player is good enough for SL.

You mean they are so qualified that it took months for them to give Balmforth his break into S/L or continued to play Smith in the halfs when he was more than useless.
Cokey is a passionate Leigh supporter with balanced views and certainly no axe to grind about these players.
He is only stating what he sees at his club which may not be what FC supporters want to hear

That wasn't Myler and despite the fact I don't think Grix fully rates Balmforth (maybe more off field) he has picked the last few games. Smith made a mess with Balmforth and meant we nearly lost him.

No support of a club is unbalanced, when a player leaves most see the negatives, Lam wanted to keep Chamberlain offered him a new deal.

Intresting to see how Leigh do, losing some good players and don't have a pathway of young players, Armstrong looks a very exciting signing though.

There are loads of passionate supporters on here, buy I wouldn't want them in charge of recruiting.

So far Myler has brought in Aydin and Briscoe who have Bern good signings, maybe give him a chance?

We all know Balmforth is a talent but can’t you see what Grix is saying. The kid was poor yesterday.
Even Wayne Bennett is his prime would struggle to get wins with the current team,
Kr we’re too big, too strong for us yesterday.
I was expecting more from Morgan smith but to be fair hes playing in a beaten team.
Folk criticise Sao but he was playing needled up.

As said repeatedly , let’s wait until recruitment has finished, then we can judge.

Thought Ese Sao Aydin where fantastic for us yesterday. Add Ashworth Asiata Staverly Cartwright and hopefully another to the pack and it looks a lot better.

Smith, gene and Grix deemed Okunbor and Pele good enough for super league despite fans forums saying otherwise, especially in Okunbors case, the argument works both ways.

In fairness to Grix I don't think he'd have had much say in the signings, it was Grix who sent both Okunbor and Pele in to the reserves, then out on loan once he became interim Head Coach. The signings for 2024 were down to Smith.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
