Holmes is better than Lane Hardraker is probably is better than Sutcliffe and Scott and alot more durable than Carlos. Abdul is better than any halfback we have. Asista is a better forward than any of our forwards. (maybe harsh on Ese Ese) Add in two more quota players, Cartwright and a new coaching set up, I'm confident we will improve.
We haven't been too far the last 3 games against 2 top 4 teams and 1 top 6 teams.

Holmes, hardaker and Chamberlain won't offer the quality out wide we desperately need. They may be marginally better than what we have but what we have is garbage so not saying much.
Abdul will be missing most of the season as he has been pretty much every season.
Asiata is a good player and hopefully his injury woes are behind him but he won't transform our attack without better players around him

But what your asking is near impossible to do, need to bring in 10 plus players which in todays market and salary cap isn't possible. Next season is about small steps, add in better value for money players, much better quality quota players and aim to finish higher and win more games, there isn't a quick fix for this club.

I'm not saying we need to sign 10 top quality players but we do need some strike out wide and the current recruitment doesn't address that. Hopefully the 2 additional quota players may do but of it's lafai and a full back then for me it doesn't do enough

Dont get why we need a full back Its evident to most that a quality centre, halfback, front row and another second row should be a priority. Maybe we can now also release Tuimavave and add another quota spot

We have two spots if Carlos does, the inly way I'd consider keeping Carlos if the new rules come in and he comes off quota, but still don't think I'd keep him unless wage was very low.
If we can get a fullback who can play halfback like Sailor it would be better, Moy, Sailor and Abdul, would give us good pace and balance.
Like Trueman and Sutclifee think the club don't think Walker offers enough to justify his salary.

I think Carlos is done, he is always injured and as much as I like him, his body cannot stand the rigours of regular game time anymore, so I would let him go , as much for his sake as no player wants to be injured constantly.
