I see Love Rugby League are reporting that Bradford have won the race for a lease on the hole in the ground having sold the lease to the RFL for £1.2m in 2012.

Looks like £100k up front with £160k spread over 5 years. What it doesn't say is what Bradford might be paying if anything after year 5 but the RFL will take 50% of any money raised if the lease is sold on within 10 years.

I suppose having their "own ground" will give them more IMG Points but you could see selling the lease on would be a way of raising money in the future perhaps when they might be in SL & those "own ground" issues may be less important.

Given that it apparently has cost £190k pa in upkeep fees, Bradford seem to have done ok out of all this.

On the flip side they signed Meadows! Into every life a little rain must fall.

He’ll come back and score against us next season- just wait and see!

Most of our opponents score against us whether they played for us or not.

In fairness he was pretty lively against Cas. Not sure he’d have won man of the match this time although as I understand it Sky are contractually obliged to give that to Mark Snead even when he doesn’t play.

I was a bit surprised Westerman wasn't given the last rites after being demolished by a gentle tap in the back. His collapse would have been a thing that Bruno Fernandes would have been proud of.

Butler took him out early in second half.

Yep, that was rather pathetic. We don't need that sort of play acting in RL.

Gus Mackay we salute you!!
