Well done mr Watson

OK, I should have said teams around us, Leeds, Leigh, Salford, Cas. Teams I think we could realistically catch next season. Broadbent signed 2 years ago, the twins one at the start, one mid season, so no recruitment for 2025, none of these teams apart from Burgess fir Hudds have signed an federation players of any note.

We had two choices, stick with what we had or bring in new players, think we have gone OK on the domestic front and looking at position and and timings of Myler etc, not sure how we could have done much better. Maybe someone like Corey Hall over Hardraker, but he he isn't exactly a world beater and we have lots of young players with potential.

But the market is poor thos year, particularly if you start late.

What else could the club have done, we tired for Sneyd, O Connor etc, but they wouldn't be released or choose to stay. Most players will choose other clubs over us sadly until we improve on the pitch.

Dave is right about how hard it is to sign federation players. That’s why it not be popular but fc need to make a play for Bateman or Sutton.

Bringing Bateman and Lewis Murphy to SL would be massive. Murphy has real pace and I’m suspect about Barron. Martin & Murphy would be a class duo for years to come.

Bateman is not the player he was but you don’t become poor overnight. He’s a winner and would add the aggression we need.

If you got those 2 in and someone like Sailor and Nui we would actually be a play off side

Sad reality is I don’t think we will get any of them

Sutton would be an expensive gamble hasn't played this season and didn't play much the year before.

Agree on the other two, I'm sure we have had conversations with both players, but a few other clubs will have too, will they choose us over them is the concern.

Where we are sadly, Catalans making signings we can only dream of, Cotric, Whitehead and Keary expected to be confirmed.

He seems like a horrible bloke to work with, as seen in Huddersfield's performances in recent weeks. Incredibly confident in his own ability for someone who has nothing to show for it. We have been far from good in recent years but im grateful we never ended up with him.

Plus he snapped his patella on his comeback game at the weekend

One of the biggest plebs in rugby league is Watson. Can’t stand the bloke.
