Blease press conference was interesting... they're still speaking to other coaches, BA says some players want to come over with him from NRL, Blease is saying he will look at that but cap space is tight for next year (well done Rohan ) so chances of 3 or 4 changes for next year are slim to none unless Blease works some magic.. BA saying he's happy to stay longer, and that is not ruled out at all.. as posted above i do think BA only wants 2 years max from the sounds of it but lets see

Pretty impressed with Blease, alot more direct and clear. Sounds professional and seems to do his research.

Extremely interesting situation, if the new coach manages to get some decent performances from the team. It begs the question was it smith’s fault the team was poor or maybe the players didn’t rate smith or want to play for him.

I don't get how we can be so tight on the cap.

Fusitua / Donaldson and likely Roberts and Martin leaving.

Hall incoming who will Count as academy trained? New Marquee slot available etc

Just because Hall is academy trained it doesn’t mean we are getting to pay any less on the cap. If he was on a marquee wage we could, but he won't be so doesn’t meant too much. But agree on the general point. Don’t forget Myler and Olpherts also departed without being replaced and Johnson is likely to go.

Not sure you can put all the blame on Smith for cap issues, GH will have done a lot of the dealings with wages and cap management

What did i say that was incorrect?

Smith often said he left that to the agents and Hetherington.

Blame absolutely everything on Smith if it makes you feel better.

Thought Chev Walker's presser was pretty revealing. Did not sound like a coach who has too much confidence in his future at Leeds beyond this season. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
