I would mitigate it somewhat though by saying both Hurrell and Bachelor have been from average to downright awful this year so I'm not sure they're much of a loss and Whitley and Wingfield don't make it into your first team if everyone is fit. They're not dissimilar to us losing Cooper or Isa. The others are more genuine losses but then so are Field, Leeming and, particularly, O'Neil for us.
I'm not pretending it's even by any means. We're in a far better position than you because of squad depth and how we're playing. Plus we can afford to lose this game far more than Saints can.
Fair points however as much as Hurrell is a turnstile in defence, he offers an attacking threat close to the line as evidenced by his try on Good Friday
Also yes you are right in that Whitley and Wingfield would not be in a first choice 17 but they would be first choice replacements. So instead of those we are looking at Royle and Davies- a huge drop off
There is no doubt Wigan have the stronger squad and I know you are missing a few too, I just feel that our absentees will impact us much more.

Incidentally looks like Briers is coming to Saints after all. Matt Shaw and John Davidson now reporting. I was told this on the 9th June on a night out and laughed at the lad who told me. Looks like he was spot on.
And Saints are appealing the appeal for Mbye. Must think we have a real chance.

Hurrell, Walmsley and Makinson are massive metre makers against us in the past. The first 2 are good for an offload too.
Other than Paasi we seem to handle the others okay.
If however is playing hooker holds up okay for us, it should be a Wigan win.
RICHARDS IS SUPERMAN!!!!

Now he's thrown in against the best team in the comp away from home.
