So it's looking likely we've arranged a home game against Wire in Vegas on 1st March next year, tagging onto the NRL double header (just waiting on official confirmation from the club).

Absolutely no consideration to our younger supporters . This should not be a Super League home game . WCC would have been perfect for Vegas but having a league game there means one less home game for the thousands that can’t afford to go to the s h I t hole that is Las Vegas .
I have mixed feelings about this. I applaud the desire to push boundaries and be ambitious and it will be a great trip for a lot of Wiganers. What is the end goal though? What tangible benefits does it bring to SL and Wigan? Ultimately we're taking part at substantial cost which our owner is good enough to cover but I doubt he would want to do that annually.
Given how cash-strapped it is, the number one priority of SL atm should be to increase income. If there is a realistic plan for this venture to do thisnover time then great - I just don't know what that plan looks like.

I saw a similar comment on the other site saying Vegas is a dump and we should play a game in Cumbria instead.
I'd love to know what people think of some parts of Wigan if they consider Vegas to be a dump. 5* hotels, ridiculously good restaurants, access some of the best shows & nightlife in the world etc.
