Red hot form? Honestly I wouldn't go that far. Obviously a good signing for the Bulls though just a shame for Fax he has had so many injury problems but if he has luck with injuries then he is a very good player. Bulls contract was nearly double what Fax offered him which would have matched his current contract with the club so you really can't blame him and like he said to Fax it really was a no brainer.

Bradford really pushing the boat out with more signings still to come and they should be the best team in the Championship next season by some distance, you just wonder if the money man has deep enough pockets to make up the points needed in the IMG system in the next couple of seasons to get them back to SL.

I’m slightly underwhelmed, was decent for the bulls in his last spell, but has had more than his fair share of injuries, as has our current no6, and if you compare the two I think it’s a slight downgrade. Will be ok in the championship but not for any higher aspirations.

A bit underwhelming this signing wasn't particularly great before he's now even older and more injury prone.

No issues with bringing Keyes in, yep some risk with injury but surely not to the level of Gaskell. I'm interested to hear we offered Keyes double the amount of Fax.....i wonder how some people get this insider info.... I guess I'll just continue to live in ignorance.

Ah good to see you back Greg, you've not been seen for a while on RAB, was worried you'd be on holiday in Tenerife!

We are well aware of Keyes weaknesses and questionable durability - but also what he can bring in terms of kicking game and running threat. Sounds like he will be replacing Gaskell who unfortunately seems to be unable to stay fit this year with his hamstring. It does sound like the club are serious about having quality across the squad next year so perhaps he won't be forced to play with a niggle etc.

Hopefully things improve over at the Shay and you avoid relegation as having a good Halifax side is good for Bradford and the Championship as a whole.

Pretty standard stuff really, agents tend to be the worst leaks for clubs in an attempt to push their players price up. In this instance though it was basically Keyes being apologetic to Fax telling them what Bradford were offering and saying there was no way he could turn it down. He didn't ask Fax to try and match it because he knew there was no chance of it happening. Apparently had around 6 other offers as well. He's a good signing for you and better than anyone you have the only question is can he keep fit, if so you have one of the top 2 or 3 half backs in the Championship.

Not too sure the thinking with the Matty Gee signing though, his form has pretty much dropped off a cliff this season but again Fax could not come close to the Bradford offer.

Keyes had made 17 appearances this year. Certainly looks to be a big part of Fax getting some important results recently. Also he's a great goal-kicker which we are badly lacking this year and will cost us eventually.

Meadows I'm a bit Meh on. However he can play a number of positions.

I rate Gaskell higher than Keyes, however he's just not been able to get on the field this year sadly.

Keyes will be on less money than Gaskell so an overall saving for the club. He’s a superb player and has that quality to unlock defences with a kicking game to boot but he will miss games so it’s good to have Meadows to spell for him when he does.

Either way he’s a fax player and as we know they have better players than us in every position so it’s good news! I’m just glad we can afford to triple his wages or whatever the rumours are or else we’d never sign anyone!

Joking aside I think the point that we need to spend on other areas is a very good one. Sounds like we are trying to work on all sides but current odsal will hold us back regardless of how much we spend on the team.

Really like how we are building under EoC though. Long may it continue

Tyran Ott 1 year extension; Eoc always speaks highly of him a good foil for Souter.

Well at the worst we can always loan him back to a league 1 club
