Ultimately I don’t know but it does seem suspicious, I think as soon as a franchising system comes in to place it immediately raises questions of some corrupt scenario. Objectively I deemed img as a vessel for an overall marketing ploy for a general improvement in the infrastructure of rugby league, throwing odsal in to the mix seems to counteract that system and that’s where the doubt in the integrity starts .

Club have at last formally confirmed Keyes departure to the Bulls- i know players come and go but if we also lose Jouffret and possibly even JWH to rival championship clubs i will be royally p****d off. Obviously players looking after their financial security is completely understandable, but this season to date we have made a complete mess of managing our 3 best players, in the main to accommodate Widdop. It's easy to be wise after the event - although I was never in favour of his signing - i obviously don't know details of Widdops salary, but would suggest it would have been enough to cover an enhanced extended deal to tie down 2 of the best halves in the division . Based on our crowds over the last few years we have probably sometimes been spoilt with the quality of some of our signings - that doesn't though make these departures any easier to take!

Bearing in mind that our number 1 target from the Rams was reported to be the prop Jimmy Becket who was all set to come until Fev made a better offer and he changed his mind.
