The difference in the end was that in Williams and Dufty Warrington have genuine game breakers and we don't. Fantastic effort given the line up of the 2 teams. Just dumb plays time after time which make things harder on ourselves but there are plenty of positives the last couple of weeks. More than negatives.
Sure we should have had a Scrum late on when Trueman put a little kick through, looked like a Wire player knocked on.
Still another loss in the loss column for Grix….but,we are playing better and showing some effort….a few on here have said we are unfit…so Grix hasn’t improved that side of the team, attack still needs addressing, hope Cartwright can get a attack coach in,Balmforth sounding good again but let’s face it,he is only playing because Houghton is injured..would he have dropped Smith instead?…..we may have improved performance wise and I put it down to having “better” players than Smith had but he has still won the same amount of points than Smith.
What are people’s thoughts on Trueman?…barring a couple of games,I don’t really get it with him..I know injuries have disrupted his time here but would we be better with a quota 7 if we could get one with Abdul or having effectively two 6’s in the half’s next season…genuine question.

He's going fine. Probably not gonna find his peak yet. Missed out on a couple of pre-seasons in the past two years. Hopefully he gets one next year. Because you can tell he has the ability.

You adding sleep expert to your list of skills? The guy had 1 session due to jet lag. No point rushing him back if he's not ready

On Trueman I appreciate he’s coming back from 2 huge injuries and in a side that has been on the back foot but I do feel he needs to show more than he has so far. Reynolds whilst not brilliant has for me been the better of the 2 halves which is an indication of things.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

We look miles ahead of where we were fitness wise in my opinion.
Had every right to throw the towel in today but didn’t. Lost Scott and Ashworth. Sao was struggling. Briscoe went off with a HIA. But was in it until the last 2 minutes.
Gutted with the loss but Wires game breakers got them over the line.
Think Aydin has been a good buy for us. Must've played 70+ minutes in the middle
Cant fault the effort especially in defence but need miles better game management with the ball . At 18 all , we should have been looking to set up for the drop goal rather than spreading it wide with only 3 mins on the clock .

First half let us down. We had so much ball in the 10-30min spell and came away with nothing, and then up against 12 last 10 of the first half, again coming away with nothing. We still look lost in the opposition 20. But...
A much better effort from everyone again with some really good moments to get excited about. A very enjoyable game again, and actually find myself looking forward to the next time we play again, and disappointed it's not this coming weekend.
