The talent of the players we have is better, but what Smith is getting out of them is pure sh’ite.

Worse than cas?

It looks to me like both. We sign other teams’ reserve players or Champ players and expect our magical environment to make world beaters out of them. When has this actually worked?

I’m balled off with seeing our smallest players taking the brutal carries out of D and then making it to our own 40 if we’re lucky.

I’ve made my views on the error rate clear before and that is more a quality of player issue. But then RS and GH have signed those players.

We started the game with one prop (Mik). Then we don’t use our subs properly again ehen we are clearly struggling physically. Either play Johnson or pick another player.

We look clueless in attack and have all year. I noticed us try to play another set move on the left hand side in good ball and it fell apart within three passes as usual.

Some of the goal line D was embarrassing, where their players got the ball down (or nearly did) about three times with three or four Leeds players in the tackle.

Only watched 20 minutes as had other plans.
But in that 20 minutes we looked like a bottom 4 team playing without any organisation, forwards who were powder puff and backs who looked like they hadn`t a clue.
Smith who I saw being interviewed at the start of the game looked nervous and needed a rocket up his arris.
And a captain who has gone backwards from last season along with a number of others.

I would give Cam Smith much less game time and play O’Connor at 13. Our attack looks more crisp as well with Corey at 9… though he was only on for 5 mins.

I see oconnor as a 13. Great line speed and tough. he certainly isn't a hooker imo

He doesn’t have the size for 13 or quite the head or skill for 9. He is willing and a good squad option but yet another player without a clear position IMO.

His line speed and positivity against Hull was great - there was a rumour they were signing him for next year as starting 9.

Agree. Which sadly sums up our current predicament. Can see why Tad would suggest it though. Maybe if we had some real heavyweights in the pack.

Yeah well JOC came through at 13 and then was pushed up to 9 wasn’t he?

Said it before but aside from Ackers/Johnson/JOC at hooker, the smallest player I want to see in the pack would be McDonnell. And the big ones need to be more skilful.

Again, wouldn’t be surprised if JOC was signed elsewhere next year and we ended up keeping Johnson as understudy to Ackers. Another one for Blease to sort out.

I don’t think Jarrod will be leaving.
