In fairness nobody on here knows Smith so calling him arrogant has no basis really. His public appearance may give you the impression of arrogance but everyone who I've spoken to thats knows him says the opposite.

You’ve got to believe in yourself and your methods to be a high level coach anyway.
I’m coming round to the idea that RS position is looking untenable, I don’t think his recruitment strategy has worked other than getting rid of some dead wood. I’m not sure if the side we have is capable of delivering his game plan either - or that it works. Although it’s still hard to tell 100% because we get no continuity.
Blease will now make this decision either way, if it hasn’t already been made.
People need to stop hurling abuse at a bloke trying to do a job for Leeds. Chris I don’t know how much influence you have on the Pod but the recent episode was vitriolic - ghoulish abuse. I think we all understand that plenty of fans don’t have RS on their Christmas card lists by this point.

Stay classy people.
Re the pod.
In hindsight it was a mistake to have it live and so soon after the loss.
The decision was made to delete it from all platforms and issue an apology as it wasn’t acceptable.
It’s been a lesson learned to be honest and was outlined in the tweet explaining why it was deleted.

Seems the right decision Chris. I’m not the Victorian morality police and my view doesn’t matter, I just think the Pod needs a more professional/ journalistic approach even if its charm is its authenticity.

I found it funny, as it just became a swearathon. But I fully understand it being taken down. I think they should do a more thoughtful review of the game. Having said that, there's nothing wrong with a bit of emotion about poor performances - it what a lot of fans feel. Just tone it down a notch or three.

I've never really listened to the podcast before but listened to about 10 minutes of this one. I want Smith out, however, it was very amateur and unprofessional. You can say you want Smith out without non-stop swearing and foul mouthed abuse. I presumed the presenter would warn the other guy or cut him short but he seemed to enable him to continue further.
Surely, you want balanced and rational people speaking rather than somebody who sounded like he had had 10 pints and could not stop swearing. It didn't come across well at all to me.
