Strange when he said this in April?

Ellis announced his retirement and was back playing a few months later...

So he had time to miss it.

Keary hasn’t finished playing yet?

Kevin naiquama? Announced he was retiring at Saints, then signed for the roosters and is now at Hudds. Players can change their mind if the price is right as Jake says

Oh I know they can but he was very definitive a few weeks ago that would lead me to question his commitment.

The report above has emerged today.

Let’s see how it plays out?

Wont be money, could easily got a deal in the NRL, probably a challenge and to live in South of France.
Superb player, but as said a risky one, seems to play most ganes, but seen some reports of concussion issues.

Keary will be hands down the best halfback in SL; he is still at the top of his game with The Roosters, but like an earlier post mentioned, he has had concussion concerns, but what a player, still got pace , has a great kicking and passing game and just maybe the man to take Cats all the way next year.

Not just 'concerns' - stood down for half a season wasn't he after too many too close together.

Roosters really aware of the issue - Boyd Cordner & Jake Friend both retired very quickly for the same issues.

Pleased for him he seems okay this year & has options. Seem to recall he is highly qualifed & very bright, so sensibly putting his health first.
