Looking at Leeds Live and even Peter Smith in the YEP its hard to see anything other than Rohan moving on. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays the week though. I get the issue of becoming the focus of negativity on the day to remember Rob Burrow, but if he quits/is sacked before that game it would make the coach the focus of the run up to the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if GH steps in to read the riot act to players regardless. They need to be on notice - now is not the time to be putting in a half-arsed performance, even if they want a new coach.
GH went straight into the changing room with the players and smith and locked the door apparently
The thought of another "performance full of promise" like yesterday on Friday makes me shudder. At least if Smith has gone and the players stink the place out again there's just likely to be some disappointment rather than vitriol which would be horrible on such an important occasion.

I would hope that even if Smith is still in post people could moderate themselves on Friday, there’s no need for the abuse at such an occasion.
Very true Christopher. I'd say GH will mark the cards of players if they dish out garbage in the next match.
Its also odd that when players turn against the coach a lot of them are acting like turkeys wishing for Christmas. Where exactly do some of them think they'll go if the club decides they are part of the problem? For a fair few it will be forever the lower reaches of SL or the Championship after Leeds.

Totally agree. Can you imagine all the emotion and passion and then watch a bunch of wage thieves run round like headless chickens while Leigh laugh their socks off against a bunch of pussies.
It would make the whole occasion a farce exposing Hetherington even more as the incompetent recruiter. Blease needs to be told to sack Smith on Monday and start as you mean to go on. No sentiment whatsoever.
I would rather see one of the serving ladies from catering being given a chance than have to listen to the incoherent ramblings of Smith one more time.
He will never be a coach while he has a hole in his backside

Blease needs to make his own decision and not be told anything otherwise his position is undermined from the start.
If supporters want to make it all about what they want on Friday that’s up to them but maybe they should give it a rest for one game and think about the bigger picture
Given that on more than one occasion this season the performance has the appearance of players having just met in the car park before the game and those with their boots get to play, can anyone offer any insight as to how often we actually train. I've heard this morning from a source with no reason to make things up that it's 3 mornings per week. Surely that cannot be right, though it would explain much.

Mate, your I told you so / look at me I was right posts after every defeat are childish and cringey.
Last year we weren’t great but we also had loads of injuries and an unsettled team. I was happy to give him a chance with his players he signed and hopefully a better run of injuries and there were signs of improvement and potential but it hasn’t worked out.
