Cannot see any point keeping RS in place now. I thought he would be gone end of the season but its going to get toxic. No idea how Chev Walker keeps surviving cannot see what he bring to the party and RS apart a lot of players reputations a plummeting rapidly. Our forwards are power puff and Handley apart our backs look like they are wearing pit boots.That was our full strength team today apart from Bentley and Ackers. No wonder Bentley keeps getting concussed it must give him a headache trying to work out where the rest of the pack are while hes trying to put a hit on people!
No aggression No Leadership No pace No Size No long time recruitment plan where we get the best of the best available.Like we used to when Dean Bell recruited the goldens. Limited skill but no overall game plan but with the squad you have available the best of the best Aussie coaches could not polish this turd. Hope our new Director of rugby is given the full Autonomy to do his job.
The only reason he's still there is because of the DoR appointment. That bought him some time, but it seems fairly clear that the players have given up on him as a fair few look like they aren't even trying to play well any more. He may have one more week as I doubt the club will want to take any attention away from celebrating Burrow next home game.
I wouldn't be surprised if they turn in a good (or at least much better) performance because of Rob, but if anything that will expose that the players are no longer playing for the coach, and its hard to see this season not just collapsing in a heap if he stays.
