People on here banging on about Abdull fitness….Jai Field has done his hamstring again…that’s 3 times in 3 seasons,1st time 5ths,2nd 10 weeks and now this one is looking like weeks as well…so Abdull could play more than Field but if field was available,we would sign him with his injury record

Not Pele, saw him make a break against Swinton the other week, definitely a player there, hopefully extend his contract.

That makes real sense when Tuimavave is set for his long awaited comeback

If Abdull was a fullback like Field his injury record wouldn’t be talked about half as much. For one thing we’ve got a few options there, and in general it’s usually easier for wingers and centres to cover that position well. We’ve massively struggled without a specialist playmaker to the point that our season was effectively over in about 6 weeks. Factor in how much we’ve struggled without Trueman and his bad luck with injuries we’d have to have rely on a chunk of luck to see our 6 and 7 playing together most weeks.
FWIW I don’t know the logistics of it as there’s not much available but I just have a hunch we might either add some experienced cover/completion for the playmakers or maybe even an unexpected twist in our recruitment/retention that might mean Abdull’s fitness is less of a gamble.

He’s got a poor attitude, the pace of a donkey and wants to argue with everyone. The club are trying to improve the fitness and culture of the playing squad. Why on earth any posters would want him back is beyond belief.. May as well get griffin and Reynolds back We got hammered many times with him on the pitch, bringing him back would do far more harm. He’s done nothing at giants with a lot better playing squad, so why do posters think he’d improve us.
When he's good though, he's very good. Nobody in Super league comes close to possesing the skill set he has when he turns it on.
I'd rather pay money to watch him than Morgan Smith. You usually get entertainment value with Connor.

Read a story that Huddersfield have gone in for Damien Cook. Not sure how much reality is in the story. But if true, it would show them having more ambition than us.
