It’s really weak officiating the ref should tell him to shove it. Penalise them and then march them back. I’m sure the ref wouldn’t allow it if he had to walk back through the crowd to get changed.

Unfortunately the modern game is such that natural justice isn't meted out in this way. Instead it's down to the ref to be more forceful and make sure that players know they're in charge and that all the waving arms around and appealing for a decision won't make any difference. The ref last Sunday was very weak in this department. Barrow have a clear gameplan to put pressure on the ref and to an extent it worked.

Lamping someone only plays into their hands. Doro fell for the old pea and thimble trick which is a pretty old tactic albeit one that can be tried without fear of being smacked as often nowadays.
