Unfortunately there is going to be an area that we miss out on, we have 5 experienced props plus Staveley and a good of others.
No point in having a quota prop who isn't good enough to make the current 21 man squad.

The club won’t have much leverage in those negotiations if the player in question knows that we’ve already signed someone up!

Agree, though it could well be that moves for any other additional quota player is only being done following settlement agreements, as no point looking if a player doesn't agree to a release settlement etc.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
Brisbane releasing some players at the end of the season , Taupau , Staggs , Corey Jensen and Kobe Hetherington. Staggs is a decent centre but probably get snapped up within the NRL.
