Never known a season like it for recruitment, maybe that season we had Jamie Forster and Ryan McGoldrick playing for us, 2012 was it? Welcome Jed & Treigh! Don't know much about either but hope they improve us for the rest of the season and next

Yeah in 2012 we brought in Foster, McGoldrick, Russell, Watts and Lineham during the year.
Crazy this season though. Since the start of the year we've brought in Russell (again!), Bullock, Chamberlain, Briscoe, Adin, Chan, Reynolds, Stewart and Cartwright.

If we can't/don't pay Okunbor off for next season, I'd play him on the wing, Abduls biggest strength is his high bombs, could be effective kicking to Okunbors corner next season

He wont be here, we currently have 7 quota players, so one has to go to sign a hooker, he will be first out of the door, another one to underperform and get a nice little pay off (probably get a another club too), this is one thing we must avoid in the future, the amount of poor underperforming players that just get paid off, for some people there is no incentive to perform.
Pele is another one, came over unfit, gets sent off 40 minutes into his debut, misses 5 games, chance to get fit and repair the club, but doesn't.
Not sure we can afford to be taking a risk of either of these two players next season.

I think Pele is just raw. With a bit of coaching he could be a handy prop. Ock I’m not sure of. I think centre might be his position if he can find confidence before the end of the season, though realistically he could be let go. As someone has said elsewhere this next season is just the start of the rebuild and should be seen as a foundation for better things. A mid table placing and being competitive in all games is what I’m expecting/hoping for

Hope the PNG hooker isn't another Lovudua, looks decent so hopefully not. So next season the only players left from our 1/17 squad numbers will be 6 Trueman 8 Eseese 10 Pele(still think he will come good fingers crossed) 11 Okunbur(doubtful) 12 Sao(firefighter so potentially leaving to make way for PNG hooker) 15 Lane 16 Ashworth massive overhaul and much needed

Agree with this Tindall going so for me it's definitely an option going forward, Pele will probably stay still very young and raw. Ligi is the one I see moving on for PNG hooker.
