With a little over a week to go, does anyone have any idea how they are getting on with laying the new pitch? Last I saw, they were still working on it and it looked like a big sand pit

We're that desperate for a win we've resorted to beach rugby, heard the squad were training on Hornsea beach this week.

Just walked my dog around the stadium and had a peak in.

Still looks like a big sand pit. I don't understand how it's going to be ready for next Saturday if I'm honest. But then again I'm no pitch layer or Alan Titmarsh.

Might be getting it ready for some more showjumping. That wasn't much of success I seem to remember

Heard from Mr P this afternoon all underground heating etc been overhauled and sports turf arriving tomorrow on pallets for direct laying onto the sand bed. Lets hope after the first tackle it doesn't come up like a Swiss Role
