Yep, I was there.....we never stood a chance, but I'll forever remember Captain Fantastic's try. What a player Mike Gregory was, may he rest in peace.

Yes, I was there. It wasn't really a level playing field against Wigan in those days, but we tried our best to compete. We had a few notable league wins against them, but the 1990 final was one game where we were not really close, sadly. Mike Greg's try is my best memory of the day.

They definitely shouldn't do considering we only have 2 players from the last one let alone any others, so I understand the point for us, however Wigan are always the same, its unlikely they will stink the place out like Saints did.

I was there and remember Kevin Iro pushing Des Drummond, after Iro scored his try, but wishing he hadn`t after left Desi flattened Iro`s nose.

Don't you mean not too dissimilar to the 2018 one? Thought the one being referred to with Patton/Sandow WAS 2016.

Yes you are quite right, apologies.

2016 Lost 12-6 with an awful 59 minutes of watching the game drift away not being able to score after Patton scored
2018 Lost 12-4 with an awful 68 minutes of watching the game drift away not being able to score after Charnley scored.

Yes I was there - still have the programme, flag and hat! Mike Greg was outstanding that day.

To this day they haunt me, but not as much as 2013. We should've had that one done and dusted.

Thewlis is nowhere near as fast as some of the players discussed here. Not sure why people have that impression. He's been easily run down on a few breaks by faster players.

Because on other occasions he's also been like poop off a shovel.
