Crowther has missed 2 games now so he doesn't have a place to keep does he, and as Burgess has shown nobody just steps back in to the team unless it's to replace someone who's had a bad game. Bullock deserves his spot and so does Holroyd, Musgrove didn't do anything wrong and Burgess clearly likes him. If Bullock didn't have the game he did last week Crowther would take the bench spot, but Bullock put in a big display so deserves to keep his spot, and Holroyd had a great game so deserves his spot. You can't expect Crowther to simply step back in after 2 weeks out.
Fair point on not having a place to retain as oppose to regain, but Crowther hasn't played because he wasn't fit. Burgess said in an interview a couple days ago that Crowther is now fit from his shoulder issue and actually indicated in one quote that he would play...
“We’re fully fit. Nothing’s changed. Jordy Crowther is alright – he’ll play,” he said.
You'll get heaps more out of Crowther than you would out of Musgrove.

you would, unfortunately, we do need some size, even if its not playing top of its game.

Oh 100% mate, As i say Crowthers one of, if not my favourite player but i'm thinking of how the squad has been picked all season. If i was to just pick my bench and ignore previous picks, my bench would be Powell Crowther Bullock Holroyd
I think the work rate Crowther brings and the fact he can cover Loose, 2nd Row and prop is superb. I hope he does make the bench but i think it would be at Holroyds expense rather than Musgrove. I think maybe if Bullock had hit the ground running from day one, Maybe Musgrove wouldn't have had as many games this season?
I am pretty sure Musgrove will play. He is big, very experienced and perhaps a bit more motivated with silverware on offer.
It sounds as though Crowther is fit again and on the basis of his workaholic contributions this year I would expect him to play.
Bullock had a good game on his last outing but his defence worries me. He tends to be a bit flat footed. And why has he just managed to turn his performance up a notch a third of the way through the season ?
Holroyd still needs to put on muscle as he is a bit too light taking the ball up. His tackling however is really motoring and Im looking forward to seeing him next year.
So for me, it's a toss up between leaving Holroyd or Bullock out of the 17. My guess is that Holroyd will drop out, but who knows ?

It was a shoulder injury for Crowther but you are right regarding going straight back into the team. Wrench is in that position now of waiting for his chance again. Under Price and most definitely Powell (Mata’utia) they would go straight back in regardless of form or not.
