I very much doubt any coach could have done much better with last years playing personnel .
In many ways MA was thrown under a bus.

I think he was out his depth with us last season but was dealt a poor hand in terms of the squad he had. I do think York is a good opportunity for him where he stands more of a chance.

For others it was just stupid childishness

Mash is a top bloke and a good coach that was dealt a poor hand at the wrong time in both his coaching career and the clubs history.
I hope he makes a real go of it and proves the doubters wrong

Totally agree with others, Mash stood up to coach his home town club. However he got dealt a very poor squad and was on a hiding to nothing from day one. I hope the bloke is successful at York
