They will also have some disgruntled players/agents asking for contract reviews and are setting a (very silly) bar for future signings.
It’s been pretty much confirmed as not happening anyway but no way are the reported wages out of line with what others are likely earning in SL. I don’t know what he’s on at Huddersfield but Clune (Our number one 7 target last season) only played a similar amount of games and is a fair bit older. Aussies command a decent wage to come here, and if you don’t pay you miss out. It’s not a million miles away from the reported wages of Trueman and Abdull. If a SL club does eventually pick up Sullivan I think it will be a good move.

Ignore him, he's a Rovers fan pretending to be a Hull fan, thinks he has the inside track and knows how much we are paying every player and who are the marquee players.
Only comes on here to tell us how much players are earning and puts a negative slant on it.

Not massively bothered about Satae, not sure we need another quota prop.
I'd still try and release Pele and go with Ese Ese, Sao, Ashworth, Fash, Aydin and maybe try for one more domestic prop. Gardiner, Laidlaw and Wainhouse as back up.
Sao, Ese Ese, Stewart, Asiata, Cartwright plus a hooker and centre.
Wonder if Whitehead or Bateman are still a possibility, gone quiet on these.

I reckon Cartwright will be class for Pele. Big on fitness which is what is holding him back. I’d be inclined to give him a second year which is brave considering it’s a quota spot. Think we definitely need another prop.
If Gardner comes anywhere near our 17 man squad next year we’ve got something wrong. He’ll be class in the championship I think as he’s pretty rounded. Just no parts of his game are good enough for SL.
With Sutty going, wonder who will be in the centres

Think our 5 props are good enough, probably need one more for depth. I'd definitely make an enquiry for Chan, even if on a lone year loan deal.

Unless we were releasing one of Sao, Pele or perish the thought Ese'ese then I really don't see what the point of signing Satae would be if he were available as we already have enough quota spots tied up and need quality elsewhere particularly at 9, back row and centre and even a half as have reservations of going with Trueman/Abdul as first choice halves purely on fitness/injury records.
I'd definitely look to release Okunbor who sadly just doesn't look anywhere near good enough, even more so when taking a quota spot. I'd give Pele a pre season under Cartwright who seems to be a stickler on fitness and training hard which is what Pele seems to be in need of.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

If we keep Pele, that's one quota spot and we are desperate for a centre and hooker, think that's more important than a prop, particularly when we have 5 decent ones and Pele is a massive risk
