The facts are, that all of the highlighted Wigan offences are bannable by this season's standards and one or two are worthy of a ban in any season's rule book. With regard to Dupree, I always thought as soon as someone leads with the head, however slight, it's a sending off offence. Considering Keighran, several players have been sin-binned, red carded or banned this year despite 'mitigating factors', so it was pathetic hearing Tomkins et al trying to let Keighran off right after the game. And if Williams was banned last week for such an innocuous challenge, I look forward to the same penalty being meted out tomorrow for Brad O'Neill. Any other result is RFL corruption and I will wear my tin hat next Saturday!

If we are talking about applying the same rules consistently then I have no problem with Keighran being suspended. If O’Neill is suspended then Musgrove has to go the same way. As I have said before the tackle on Keighran is also worthy of a ban if you use Ellis/Walters as a yardstick. Dupree in my view is open to debate. One thing I would say though is that if you are happy to watch tick and pass then fine, personally I want to see a rugby game played by 34 men.
I don't think Depree will be banned. He's kind of used his head in a pushing motion but for me it's not a headbutt. A headbutt in my eyes is using the head to strike, like a punch, and I don't think Dupree does this - its more of a push. I don't know where the law stands on this.
After what’s happened today, the sad passing of Rob Burrow, it is somewhat irrelevant who gets banned and who wins and looses. It is a rugby game not a matter of life or death. We should all go to Wembley in the knowledge that we are luckier than many and we should enjoy the day with our friends, family and the rest of the rugby league fraternity. Life is too short and very precious.
