From watching Rob in his early career he was one of my favourite opposition players.
Total professional, a family man and a courageous fighter.

The Epitome of a Rugby League player. RIP, and condolences to his family.

So sad to hear of Robs passing, the bravery of Rob and his family has been incredibly inspiring during his battle.

It's very rare for Rugby League to be the lead item on all the news channels, a pity it has to be to bring us such sad news.

A truly awful way for anyone to end their days. I hope his family and friends can find some solace in the coming days and months from the fact that he is suffering no more.

He embodied the very best in what the human spirit can achieve and our world is a sadder place with his passing. A Rugby League legend, in every sense of the word. May he rest in peace for always.

Nice post. He left a rugby league legacy and a human legacy. The whole horrendous disease has shown humans at their very best Rob and Kevin Sinfield at the front. It’s uplifting. I hope Robs family can find some peace through their grief
