What terribly sad news. A brilliant player and he fought this horrible disease which such bravery. Deepest condolonces to his wonderful wife and children and to the rest of his family and friends. RIP Rob, never forgotten.

Such sad news despite it being inevitable. He fought the illness with such tenacity and dignity and has done so much to raise awareness to MND. Heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Lindsey and family, to Sir Kev and all friends. R.I.P Rob
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I’m now glad I bought the print of Sir Kev carrying Rob over the line at the Rob Burrow Leeds marathon and it’s hangs pride of place on one of the walls in my house.
