Heartbreaking. Fantastic player, and an absolute inspiration. Thoughts with his family and friends. RIP Rob, the most exciting player I think I’ve ever seen.

It was coming, he’s lived longer than most do with it, a neighbour of mine got it and was gone in less than 12 months Trully horrendous living death of a disease. RIP a trully exhilarating player to watch for all those years.

Stupendous talent. Nobody who watched him play could not be impressed, however much everyone not Leeds hated the little bugger. I swear blind he ran between Lockers' legs more than several times. Horrid disease MND, what he & Sinfield (& I don't hesitate to say, it should be sir Kev for real by now) have done to raise funds for research is awe inspiring. Rest well wee man.

What terribly sad news. A brilliant player and he fought this horrible disease which such bravery. Deepest condolonces to his wonderful wife and children and to the rest of his family and friends. RIP Rob, never forgotten.
