I don't actually think the difference is that great between Olpherts and Walmsley. They are completely different players but it depends what you want. In our half Olpherts gains ground and gets us out of trouble. In their half Walmsley is lightening and scores tries. I don't think we can really make a bad choice.

Kirmmo was on radio Leeds earlier and said that Cozza had a grade 2 head injury, which means he can undertake HIA retests this week so may have a chance, a slim one IMHO, of making Wembley

We have three obvious advantages our forwards, the size of the Wembley pitch and our full time fitness.

Lachlan and Jerry this year; Derrell can have a go when we go back again next year, along with TJ.

Olpherts already experienced a Wembley appearance in Cas's 2021 Challenge cup defeat so has had the big game experience, or should we give Walmsley a chance to have a possibly once in a lifetime appearance on the big day? Glad that I don't have to make the choice. I think the size of the Wembley playing area will suit Lachlan's style rather than Derrell's.

If your going on this season contributions you’d go … Walmsley (15 games 18 try’s) Olpherts (10 games 3 try’s) McGillvray (5 games 4 try’s) Be unfair to leave Walmsley out playing most games and most try’s by a distance. I’d probably go Walmsley / Olpherts but I think Powell will go Walmsley / McGillvray. Tough choice, who’d be a coach. Regardless I think the players have the right attitude if not selected.

Walmsley played last year for Halifax in the 1895

[quote="REDWHITEANDBLUE"]Walmsley played last year for Halifax in the 1895[/quote You're dead right RWB. I'd forgotten that Halfax had been there last year until TC mentioned it on his Friday night match commentary.
