He's so slow and unfit that he isn't keeping up with the game and his workmate is non existent. Stats for the season are poor with only 5 try assists including tonight.
Can’t see Sullivan happening, he is on a four year deal at Wests, Richardson shopping him around is the easy part and with his connections to Hull you’d imagine they’d be a chat about it but convincing the player would be the hard part.
If it did happen with his age and reputation they’d be NRL get outs but not such a bad thing. It’s not ideal but sooner sign quota players NRL clubs are wanting to poach then ones we have to ship off to championship clubs.
If we sign Sullivan would that mean Trueman is going to be released? Couldn't see us signing and paying for an NRL/Quota stand off to not play him. Or does that mean Abdull would be ball playing 13 with Asiata moved to second row!?
He could likely play fullback too. I doubt we’d have Sullivan, Trueman and Abdull all on 150K plus but with all due respect to Trueman I think it would be almost reckless to not bring in another 6 or 7 even in addition to Abdull.
Simply waiting 10 games plus at the start of the season for Trueman to get fit has been a huge factor in our two dreadful starts. Fingers crossed for the lad he seems a great character but I think we’ll look to bring in another 6 or 7, just won’t be Sullivan at 180K.
Treigh Stewart is a name I've heard. Apologies if this has already been mentioned somewhere. Don't know anything about him other than he's a fullback and he scored in the pre season game against Saints last year playing for St George.
JA has agreed personal terms with Hull after being granted permission to negotiate. Sticking point is the fee payable to Rovers. This deal was done before new coach appointed. There is an issue with JA keeping fit and as he only trains twice a week in France his weight has got away from him again. A fit JA is unplayable but a troubled unfit JA is a liability. Both him and Reynolds will never play for Hull KR again. WP will have given an insight into both but Myler signed them anyway.
