I'd rather it was Whitehead but he's still a quality player with a winning mentality. Certainly better than our current second row options.

Bateman’s 4yrs younger so would be the better option,he is a winner and a bit of a mongrel as well.

So you can pay Abdull say 150k but it is effectively £50k on the cap after the £50k marquee allowance is applied which enables us to sign both Asiata and Bateman?

I thought all 3 marquee players had to be on a minimum of £175k.

I'm almost certain you nominate your marquee players. Donut would be whichever three are the cheapest overall I would think. I suspect that would be Abdull, Asiata and then Bateman probably over Trueman.

I may stand corrected but I'm certain you can nominate players and change them around.
