That`s what I was thinking Christopher especially mentioning them expecting to receive applications both internally and externally. I hope if he does apply he doesn`t get it same goes for Kevin Sinfield. Maybe Wane will apply.

Isn't Shaun Wane doing something similar (if not as far reaching) at Wigan? really can't see him leaving that to be honest

There is a lot of things the club could do hear with this role and it’s about time they brought it in personally.
But which will they go with? Rohan Smith seems to be cemented in even when fans are calling for him out, does GH move him up and bring in a new Head Coach? Perhaps they bring Uncle Tony in this cementing RS spot as coach.
I have no doubt that it’ll be an ex player of some sort, but I don’t think it has Sinfield written in. Hears me hoping, but Kylie Leuluai for me would be the best appointment in this role.

Sinfield seems unsettled, like he won't stick at anything for too long - and some of his decision making while at Leeds last time (e.g. Crosby) was highly questionable.
It'll be interesting to see who gets the job. They probably know who it is already and are just going through the motions to appease people...

Agreed jim, Sinfields performance in the role previously was poor, Furner and Agar as his coaching appointments aswel as plenty of duds on the playing squad.
If GH is true to his interview regarding the criteria, skills, and experience we are looking for, it cant be an ex player thank god, at least non of the usual names thet get banded about
