I like a lot of what Tai brings to the side, but his link play with his winger worries me a bit. He got away with one when he scored in the semi-final, but he should have passed to Thewlis. I want players to be habitually making the right decisions in those instances. King has been very solid this season - gets through loads of work and often makes good post-contact metres, getting us on the front foot. Ratchford, at this stage of his career, is very much in the 'can fill in at centre if necessary' category. On the whole, it's nice to have four options, none of whom regard running 30 metres across field for a zero metres gain as an acceptable attacking strategy.
That Try in the semi by Tai, screwed me up for a big pay day. I put £5 on Drinkwater at 33/1 1st try scorer, and £5 on Powell last try scorer at 40/1!!

At those odds I would have tried to stop him myself!
They are decent, King does well when he plays and has a great game now and then, Tai has really flourished since he's had a run of games, i thought the same about his try. He was lucky it paid of this time, but if that was a high pressure quarter or semi, passing to thewlis who was clear could be a match defining moment. But happy with how he's going. Unless Tai is injured or has a big dip in form i don't think we'll be seeing wrench any time soon, lucky we have him for a fair few years yet to give him more time to develop. Ratch is a good player who is handy to have around, fills in where and when he's asked and does a decent job.
Whenever Wrench starts to show just how devastating he can be, he gets injured. Shame. I do think he’s going to be box office stuff eventually though, and has a great passing game too.
Agree about Lindop too, he’s going to be even better. I’d like to see him and Wrench at centre in the Wire team of the future.
It’s took a long time for us to finally find a coach that understands competition is healthy. I was never a fan of TS who would put his blue eyes straight back into the first team as if it was their god forbidden position.

I think that was more down to lack of squad depth not Smith having his favourite players..
