Didn't know Hewitt was signed for the season?
I might be thinking of Adam O'Brien who signed from Huddersfield for the remainder of the season when they signed Adam Milner from Cas so AOB was 3rd choice hooker, but then an injury to Milner or the 2nd choice had them recalling AOB, even though they had no chance of making the play offs so didn't desperately need him!
Another factor with Leeds is whether Rowan Smith survives much longer and if they lose against Cas it could be the final straw, a new coach might have other thoughts concerning loans / DR.
Heard a rumour at the weekend (although don't know how reliable) that we are looking to bring in 4-5 new players including a prop forward from France (who played a few games for us back in 2015).
On the subject of the squad, I know we still need some numbers but I wouldn't be surprised if Olly Davies moves on. I'd also like to take my hat off to his namesake Connor. I was initially disappointed with his signing I must admit but I was wrong, he runs his blood to water and I can see why Finny rates him.

It would’nt surprise me if some signings were announced at the forum to sweeten an evening with an air of potential negativity , someone did mention 3 new signings, how accurate that is is anyone’s guess , with Eden now gone that must mean we have found a suitable replacement otherwise the deal for edens departure wouldn’t have gone ahead , I have my suspicions who it is but I’m not gonna let the cat out of the bag , needless to say the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
The other two, well like I’ve mentioned before I’m hoping it’s Francois hantz but that’s me possibly doing 2+2 =5 . The other guy who’s trialling with us is a half so I don’t see the logic in that but to be quite honest there’s a lot of stuff that don’t make sense this season, ie McComb being ahead in the pecking order of Olly davies and hursey hord in the pack .
