Senior was awful for us when he first signed.

I’m not going to go back and go through all the trys, ive not got the time nor the inclination, we wont agree.
And yes a team mate might big up s team mate but I’ll take Ash’s word over yours if that’s ok?
And sorry, you said bang average not rubbish.
I did say bang average, not quite as drastic as rubbish is it
Its not about agreeing or opinion, its there for anyone to see, but i understand not having the time or inclination, especially with what the evidence will show.
Take Ash's word over mine all you want, You are massively misreading this discussion if you think im trying to convince you to agree with me, i said he's bang average, thats my opinion, i said he had involvment in 1 of Handleys tries, thats fact...What you do with those 2 pieces of information is entirely up to you....I would suggest forming your own opinion on things over just listening to what the players say mind, but each to their own

You say it's not about opinion, then go on to say it's your opinion.
Having only 1 involvement is not a fact, its a simplistic way to look at how players play and what leads to trys, the final assist is just one part.
Anyway we'll just have to agree to disagree on Momirosvki. let's leave it there.

Wrong, read again, i said the moms involvment, or lack of, in Handleys tries was not about agreeing or opinion because the evidence is there for anyone to see
I said him being a bang average player is my opinion...
Two separate things, but dont let that get in the way of your selective reading.
The most simplistic thing i have heard is crediting someone with doing something but having no evidence to present...Maybe Mom gave Ash a really motivating speech before hand, that inspired him to go full length from Crofts Kick or Millers pass..The 'intangibles' but his on pitch involvment was not the reason Ash scored them
Agreed, consider this particular discussion left here.

Iirc Mom arrived late and had no pre season.
He isn't flashy like Nene but he also didn't screw us over like Nene. New players from aus can take a little while to get settled,he's far from our worst player or signing.

Isn’t you deciding what is, or is not, involvement or important involvement an opinion? If for example you believe that an involvement is the final pass leading to a try, or a kick leading to a try then that’s an opinion as to what an involvement is. For others, or players, it may be a players positioning to move a defender and create space, it may be as simple as the threat of that player getting the ball to release a player into space.
If you want to say, he has not provided direct assists to the try’s handley has scored, that’s a fact, not an opinion. However, you seem to float an idea and use slightly different and creative words in an attempt to suggest you are stating facts and not opinions.
From my reading, Christopher seemed to be of the view that a players value, or worth, wasn’t only determined by how many times he scores a try, or how many direct assists he has. There are numerous ways a player can contribute to a try and some are more visible than others. However, how a team mate feels about the contributions another player makes is some indicator of how they are valued in the team.

[quote="Lprhino"] And we could get really silly and consider everyone on the pitch contributed to every try scored, if we want to continue down that path, which dosnt really help Christophers original post of not being a coincidence that Handley scored when Mom was paired with him.
I could just as easily retort with Ash would have scored more if Moms run line had been better earlier in the set...But that isnt tangible, so i wouldn't clutch for that straw.
Again, the tries are there for anyone to view, rather than state what Mom may have done, tell me what he did do, that resulted in the tries being scored because of his talents?
