What do you want the club to do, stick with the current players? Who else can we sign, no good moaning about signings with no realistic solutions.
Not easy to get players to move to Hull and looking at our current situation and the fact we didn't have a coach in place, would you choose us over Leigh, Salford or even Rovers, nevermore the likes of Wigan, Saints etc.

Same as you, I have no idea who else is available as I don't have daily contact with agents. Its not my job to find players, it's down to myler and cartwright.
Players will sign for whoever offers the most money as asiata has.

Look at who others are signing, very little available here, a few available but they had all gone by the time Myler cane in and Cartwright has just been appointed.
The last line isn't true, we offered Clifford, Satae and Swift more money and they went, plenty of other examples too.

clifford and swift went for personal reasons. satae looked around because we offered him a pittance first up. By the time we upped our offer he'd already agreed to join les cats. On the whole, players will sign for money. If finances are similar they'll take other factors into account.
Maybe these players are all that is available in which case fair enough but I'm just bored of watching garbage so unless I see a real prospect of us being any good I won't renew my pass. It's not as if I won't be able to get into games if things do improve.

I forgot to say that rovers are signing davies, wakey have signed johnstone and mcmeeken, salford signed marsters, all of who are way better than the players we've signed so far in those positions

Our target next season is to improve, aim or around 8th, the only way to do that is to sign better players than we have, which we are doing.
Recruitment isn't finished, I'd bet we sign at least another 6 on top of those done deals.
Add in a better coach amd hopefully other off field appointments, should see us moving in the right direction, but it isn't a quick fix.

Davies,Johnstone and Mcmeekens deals was well known before Myler came on board with the money we now seem to have and Pearson wasn’t going to stump up that money so can’t blame Myler for not getting them…..we was behind the pack on recruitment when Myler came in and in that short period we have signed or got on loan for this season and beyond 4 players and another 4 for next season and beyond plus a new coach…we aren’t doing badly.

The club is (hopefully!) at rock bottom. We can have all the thoughts and ambition in the world but if the players don't want to come to us because of our present state then we have to re-align those thoughts and ambitions, temper our expectations. We have to go with who is available and who is interested but that also comes with a cost in that we aren't in a position to sign anyone solely on our terms so we'll be forced into offering longer deals than we would like right now. But as long as they improve us then that's moving us in the right direction for better recruitment in the long term. And these signings we have made or are rumoured to have made improve us in my eyes even if they're not necessarily the most exciting of signings. I'm happy for the club to sign small improvements in the short term to build us up to something better in the long term.
Who said players dont want to come to us? Keep hearing this but who has said they dont want to come to Hull FC because they are bottom of the League I understand its more difficult for Lancs based players to travel but Asiata is coming. You have to sell and promote the club This build us up to something better in the long term is nonsense.Fans want to be entertained and watch fast and exciting R/L by quality players not sit there season after season saying the same thing. If you continue to bargain basement shop then we will be building forever. If the investment money is available The new owner should go all in and get the new coach finding four top quality overseas players in the positions we need not this filler here and there approach The lack of pace in what we see coming in next season and what we already have is disturbing to say the least. Make four or five quota spots available, offload some of the deadwood including some of the younger players like Litten,Gardiner and Laidlaw who are destined for Championship level R/L and give Cartwright the chance to bring in his own assistant

all of the better teams in SL have pace and/or power in the backs and 2nd row. We have neither and none of the players currently signed up will change that
