The phrase - "looking to travel for free" - is likely to put most people off IMO....perhaps if you were "willing to contribute towards the cost of fuel" then you would be more likely to receive a favourable response ??

The question is which came first the tickets or the transport if the former his position is somewhat weakened. If he wants to secure free transport before buying his tickets then his people skills will be detrimental to his ambitions.

You are asking, anonymously, so no one knows if you are actually an axe murderer, for someone to take you and bring you back from Wembley, without offering any compensation at all.

I’m on a rugby forum, asking fellow fans who might be travelling down to Wembley for a lift. Of course it’s the place to do it.

Obviously I’d want to travel for free if possible but should someone ask for a contribution then I wouldn’t be against it. This is also the second time you’ve outlined the fact I’m posting on here anonymously, just as 99% of users do but what do you think I’m going to do if someone does offer a lift? Sit in the back referring to myself as TimmySmith?
