The game is becoming unwatchable throwing yellow cards around like confetti. Yes it is the refs fault. That was an amateur performance on Friday that we can do without.

Not sure I completely agree. Vela warned the captains about repeat offending and guess what they did not stop niggling at the PoB all game (both sides).

How could Chambo move when 3rd man moves off, then 2nd man moves away, then Chambo gets a yellow card as last man off?
If we're going to be that strict, Salford the week before should've been down to half a team if we're going to be consistent.

Brad Singleton would have got 8 yellow cards on his own.

Funny and true Sep

First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

McIntosh at Fullback, Moylan in the halves and Chamberlain in the dressing room would have been a better combination.

I thought Vela lost control of this game, causing it to be very staccato, and frankly un-watchable.

Disagree completely about the position for Moylan. He has to play full back. If he was at 6 and in the defensive line on the right edge, then Marster probably scores two or three tries in the first half against Moylan's defence. Plus, I'm not sure anyone else gets the pass out to Charnley in time for our first try.

Once any of McNamara, O'Brien, Asiata or even Brand are fit, then they can play 6 and the team will look more balanced.

I was talking about the Huddersfield game. They played with only one half back, and 3 centres. It was horrible.

Moylan has been surprisingly good at Fullback but when O'Brien is fit, Moylan goes back into the halves.

"McNamara, O'Brien, Asiata or even Brand" McNamara - yes, O'Brien - No, Asiata - No, and Brand - No, No, No.
O'Brien is part of the reason for the "Lethal Left Edge", last season he was tried in the halves pre-season and very quickly rejected.
Moylan was brought in to do a job in the halves, and having had space and time at fullback, will benefit when he returns to his more natural position.

No gig for Vella this week, apart from VR, which doesn't surprise me.

Whilst I don’t disagree that he was brought in to the halves , you could argue that FB is his natural position, that’s where he made his name in his early days and moved into a 6 later on.
Asiata could easily play 6 , of that I have no doubt but he’s crucial at 13.

Three times before action was taken.. I’ve never seen that before. Yellows should have been shown after the first chatty chat. Thats when he lost it..

I've a lot of time for O'Brien at full back, but ultimately I think Moylan is a better full back. His footwork makes him more dangerous in kick returns and he's less likely to be caught by a winger / centre shooting out of the line. In this system, he'd be wasted at 6, stood on the right while we continue to go left. I also don't think it's a coincidence that our defence has improved since he's not been in the defensive line, and his move to fb along with the return of Amone has seen an upturn in performances.

Not sure why you'd disregard Asiata at 6, given he's played NRL there, plus Lam has already said that by the time he comes back he will need to fit into an adjusted style of play. O'Brien did play at 6 at the start of last season, but that was with Hardaker at full back and everything was quite clunky still. I think he'd do a lot better with Moylan running off him at full back
