So this has always been highlighted as a massive weakness in our side for the last few years... and rightfully so.
So how do we rate our 1st team centres now? I would probably rank them

1.King
2.Tai
3.Wrench
4.Ratchford

it feels like a good position now... King, despite some early criticism, has been strong and reliable... Tai is getting more dangerous and hard to play against each week... Wrench waiting in the wings... Ratchford is a backup.

That's how I see it too. Tai seems to have such strong arms.

Is this the same King that most wanted out of Warrington?

Yes but people can change their minds.

I think King, and Warrington, have a lot to thank Peet for. It is good to see him maintain his good form. Perhaps it would be nice though if he could repay Peet by having an off day at Wembley :)

King is playing well these days, but he often passes too early, before his marker has committed to tackling him.

Which is no bad thing given our current set up and the way Ashton, Thewlis and Dufty are playing and add to that Fitzgibbon's lines.

I'm happy enough with it, the exception for me is Wrench who could develop into a really top strike centre.

I think Wrench has the potential to be an exceptional player, and it's a shame that injuries have prevented him from making as many appearances as he should have done. I like a lot of what Tai brings to the side, but his link play with his winger worries me a bit. He got away with one when he scored in the semi-final, but he should have passed to Thewlis. I want players to be habitually making the right decisions in those instances. King has been very solid this season - gets through loads of work and often makes good post-contact metres, getting us on the front foot. Ratchford, at this stage of his career, is very much in the 'can fill in at centre if necessary' category. On the whole, it's nice to have four options, none of whom regard running 30 metres across field for a zero metres gain as an acceptable attacking strategy.

I like the way Tai is improving game by game. Thought he was excellent against Catalans.
