Horrible game to watch, but nice 2 points. Leigh looked very strange, with 2 Centres on the right flank and only one half back.
McIntosh at Fullback, Moylan in the halves and Chamberlain in the dressing room would have been a better combination.

I thought Vela lost control of this game, causing it to be very staccato, and frankly un-watchable.

RL used to be the best sport to watch , but both Leigh v Huddersfield games where shockers , a combination of poor discipline and a ref that wanted to take centre stage , 22 penalties and 4 yellow cards .

Really hard to watch, the refs need to start letting the game flow a lot more.

I assume you mean let the game flow by not blowing his whistle for knock ons, forward passes, offsides, high tackles etc.

Wouldn't go that far , he blew the whistle way more than he needed too , killed the game .

I don't know why you have to constantly back the official's even when they have a lousy game. In all honesty, I think 1 yellow card was about right, but 4 ruined that game for everyone. Look, it's not on, and we want to see 13 a side for our entertainment. We don't pay good money to see an over zealous ref blowing his whistle constantly with pedantic decisions. Rant over.

Does anyone know why Robbie Mulhern went off early and never returned?

Lammy states, it's gone from one calf to the other, and he will need to see a specialist to see what's going on.

Discipline was very poor but because the ref noticed it became his fault?

Russell got no charge. Fines of £250 for Dwyer & Halton, yet we had to endure 4 sin bins. Chambo's sin bin is the most ludicrous yet. 22 penalties wasn't justified. The game is becoming unwatchable throwing yellow cards around like confetti. Yes it is the refs fault. That was an amateur performance on Friday that we can do without.
