Great game some real spirit and game management in tough conditions. Thought Kendall was crap but greatfull for the no try soft decision.
Another box ticked about the potential of the side this year, getting the catalans monkey off our backs.
Expect both teams to play kids next week and looking forward to Wembley.

In all fairness, they usually have a "big bopper" who comes on, takes the ball up a bit then starts to flag. Kasiano comes to mind. But props to Satae today, he definitely was one of their threats.

Baring injury I don’t see Wrench getting that spot back any time soon.

Be to fair i think the ref was bad for both sides TBH. Their 'no try' could have easily gone up as a try and would have stood. Also when the ball came off Thewliss leg and Johnstone knocked on, it could have been given as Thewliss ripping the ball and head & feed to Cats. But Cats also got plenty for them too.
Great defensive stint. Probably the best i've seen all season.
I wonder what our team will look like next week? I feel like both us and Wigan should just do away with resting players and go 100%. But i can see the arguements for resting players too.

Just outstanding physically and the concentration needed to hold out for set after set. Great to see Catalan take the 2 after 3 sets in our ten. That alone must have given the lads a huge boost.
In the last 15 Catalan looked out on their feet (I know they lost three to injury) but if either side was going to fade it 'should' have been us.
Just a fabulous display of togetherness and commitment. More please lads.

Very very good performances from 1-17.
No one had a bad game.

Many things that stood out for me - in particular.
1. The defensive effort was immense for the full 90 minutes. So many heroics.
2. Our right side defence looked assured - for the first time this year.
3. Thewlis looks more confident with his kicking.
4. Duftys defence and organization has improved immeasurably.
5. Tai was a mare to defend.
6. After 2 knock ons in the first 2 sets and 7 errors in yhe first half, we only made one mistake in the 2nd.

Numerous other things.

You can only play the team in front of you, but -
1. Cats had several key men out eg McIllorum and lost McMeeken in the warm up
2. Da Costa going off HIA so early disrupted them
3. Cats played the last 30 mins with no interchanges due to injuries
4. Cats attack wasn't fully firing (but a large part of that was down to us)

The match could have been quite different.
Not complaining but there's stuff to work on.
The interesting for me is - regardless of the team we put out, can we back it up or do we have a repeat of 'post Saints?'

For now though - let's just savour the win.

Amazing performance, I just hope Big Sam keeps his word, coz the nrl lot will be waving their cheque books around if we carry on like this.

Congrats lads,let's keep it up.
